About This Item

Denver: Western Federation of Miners, 1906. Magazine. Three issues of the 16-page magazine, 11.75x16 inches; issues present are vol. 8 nos. 158-160. The first has the cover separated but present, with several tears; the second issue has some edge chips to the cover, otherwise very good. The WFM had been involved in the formation of the Industrial Workers of the World in 1905, and these issues are from the period when it was still affiliated (they all bear an IWW union bug on the cover). Articles discuss labor disputes all over the West and as far as Alaska.
