Very Good. pp 246 The dedication copy, inscribed by the author to the printed dedicatee, Adeline Marie Russell on the dedication page: 'with the profound regards of the author R A Cram. 1914'. Bound in quarter cloth over paper covered boards, some rubbing and stains, paper label to spine, very slight spotting to preliminaries. Cram was a prolific American architect of college buildings and churches including large parts of New York's cathedral of St John the Divine. Russell was a British advocate for penal reform.
