About This Item

Bethlehem, CT: June 1 Gallery, 1985. Boxed. Fine. All of these prints were originally made between 1934 and 1945. These second edition prints were printed by Anthony and Helen Kirk at the Eldindean Press in NYC in 1981. Each print has a small blindstamped "EP" in the lower margin (for the printer), 100 sets plus 3 Printer's Proofs were printed, 75 of which were offered by June 1 Gallery in a specially made portfolio ("a cloth-covered box of Scholco Dutch paper-backed linen, with spine and label of light brown Oasis leather stamped in gold foil"). The other 25 sets were retained by the artist. Each print was signed, numbered and dated (original year of composition) in pencil by the artist. The prints in this set are numbered 70/100.
