Random House, New York, 1972. First Edition. Hardcover (Illustrated Boards). Very Good Condition/Good. Illustrated boards with silver insert to the back strip, and within at insert green coloured titles. Illustrated dustwrapper with black coloured titles to the front panel and black and green coloured titles to the backstrip. A Paul Shaw mystery, where he crosses from Manhattan to the New Jersey coast and gets caught up in a five-year-old crime. Softening and rubbing to the backstrip pages and rubbing to the corners and lower book edges. Age toning of the text block edges and there is a mark to the free front end paper. Rubbing of the dustwrapper edges and panels with grubby marks also present. Yellowing of the background colour. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 185, [1] pages..
