About This Item

With a frontispiece engraved portrait of Goldsmith. Works include "The Vicar of Wakefield," "Citizen of the World," "She Stoops to Conquer," poetry, essays, "The Bee," "Life of Henry Lord Bolingbroke," and more. Leather binding with gilt accents along the edges of the boards and marbled end papers.

Condition:
Stain at the top-right corner of the front cover. Tight binding; crack at the hinge between the frontispiece and title page, resulting in the frontispiece being loose 2/3 of the way down from the top. Nice pages with only a very light stain (barely noticeable) at the top-right corner that gets gradually smaller and disappears near the middle of the book...otherwise clean with no writing or tears found and only a random foxing spot here and there.
