Belfast: Printed for Samuel Archer, High-Street, By Francis D. Finlay, 1818. Hardcover. Very Good. Six volumes. 16mos. Each volume has two title pages and one half-title: (collective title for the set, special title for the volume, and half-title for the volume). Bound in contemporary polished calf with a bind stamped border frame and gold tooling on both boards, gilt spines, marbled endpapers, all edges marbled. Small, light owner's name in ink on collective title page of volume one. Rubbing to the joints and edges of the boards, two volumes have slightly bowed boards, modest crease on two text pages in volume two, very good. The contents of each volume is taken from the half-title leaf: Vol. 1. His Life, The Vicar of Wakefield; Vol. 2. Poems and Plays; Vol. 3. Essays; Vol. 4. Life of Parnell, Life of Bolingbroke, The Bee; Vols. 5 and 6. Citizen of the World. A complete set of the scarce Irish edition in a handsome contemporary binding. *OCLC* locates only one complete set.
