London: Cunningham and Mortimer. Very Good. 1842. First Edition; early printing. Hardcover. ; Half leather over clean green pebbled cloth. Spine with gilt decorated raised bands. Top edge gilt with single ruled border on covers. Marbled endpaper. Pictorial title page & frontispiece. This appears to be a rare printing of the book complete in one volume by Cunningham & Mortimer with 20 steel plates by Cruikshank. Armorial bookplate of Norcliffe Gilpin of Kentmere. Spine head has a tiny chip. First three pages are very lightly foxed. A narrow stain on the bottom margin of most plates. Several pages of text have been professionally restored. Literature, Fiction; Steel Engravings; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 419 pages .
