N.Y.: Alfred A. Knopf. Very Good (edgeworn)/No Jacket. 1929. Hard Cover. The second printing of the First US edition (first US printing 1928). translated from the original Spanish by Warner Fite, originally published in Madrid in 1914 as NIEBLA. In decorated yellow cloth, lightly scuffed, which is bumped at edges, worn at spine ends (including some tearing and chipping to cloth at top of spine), also shows darkening to top page edges. Otherwise binding is solid, and the interior is entirely clean, with little sign of the usual foxing. 332 pages. RARE hardcover edition, features a prologue by Viktor Goti. .
