VG / G+. 1946 Houghton, Mifflin, first edition / early (not first) printing with no date on title page. Hardcover with dust jacket. Previous owner rubber stamp on FFEP (a Commander in the Navy no less). Dust jacket has a 1/2" chip at top edge.
