About This Item

[Privately Printed],, [1997]. Roy. 8vo., First Edition, with numerous photographs (a number full-page) throughout; navy buckram, upper board lettered in gilt, a fine copy. SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR ON TITLE. A much-needed addition to the scandously under-written record of the Royal Naval Patrol Service in WWII. Comprised partly of MMS (Motor Magnetic Minesweepers) the RNPS [affectionately known as 'Harry Tate's Navy'] worked tirelessly throughout the conflict in virtually every theatre. VERY SCARCE IN THIS CONDTION.
