Hardcover. x, 187p., 6x9 inch boards; corners slightly bumped, dustjacket edges and spine slightly toned, mild edgewear, printed on rough paper, else in very good condition. Roy was a prominent Indian revolutionary, whose international adventures included working to found the Mexican Communist Party and the Communist Party of India (Tashkent Group). He was a delegate to the Communist International, expelled in 1929. After WWII he advocated a new philosophy expounded in his 1947 manifesto, New Humanism.
