New York, New York: William Morrow & Co., Inc., 1991 Very light rubs and smudges at spine ends. No prev. owner name or markings. DJ in plastic cover. Number sequence begins with "1". Blue paper-covered boards, mustard yellow cloth-covered spine with crisp gilt lettering. Endpapers are lavender. Wry, whimsical stories with an intellectual depth that show us people whose self-created worlds do not match up to the real world, plus stories of the emotional impact on a young man by his parents' divorce.

Synopsis

A Model World and Other Stories is a 1991 collection of short stories by Michael Chabon. It was his first story collection and second book, following the 1988 novel, The Mysteries of Pittsburgh.
