The binding is loose and the title page has been stamped with "Discarded." There are smudges and stains, but nothing that obstructs the text of the novel; A Monk of Cruta is the story of a young monk who is sent to live in a remote monastery on the island of Cruta. The monastery is run by an elderly monk who is blind. The young monk is forced to learn how to live a life without sight. He is also forced to learn how to live a life without the comforts of modern day society.; 8vo; 340 pages .
