Government of Newfoundland and Labrador,, [1969]. 8vo., First Edition, with coloured frontispiece, numerous photographs in the text, folding maps (several coloured in outline) and endpaper maps; white cloth, upper board blocked in black, backstrip lettered in white, a near fine copy in unclipped dustwrapper. The official history of the Island Dominion's contribution to WWII. Two RA regiments were formed: 166 Field Regiment and 59 Heavy Regiment; almost 3500 men joined the Royal Navy and Royal Canadian Navy; some 700 airmen served as air or ground crew. Includes ROH and awards.
