About This Item

New York: Greenwillow Books, 1981. First Edition. Hardcover with Dust Jacket. Near Fine/Near Fine. Tana Hoban. 4to. Unpaginated. A photo-concept book with the author's black and white photography throughout. Illustrated endpapers. Bound in photo-illustrated paper-covered boards. With the dust jacket, unclipped, which mimics the book cover. Slight offsetting on the title page from the blue ink on the page opposite. Dust jacket with a slight half-inch closed tear along crease at head of spine. A publisher's review slip is laid-in, asking the recipient to embargo their review until the publication date in October, 1980. Hoban's work is featured in MOMA's permanent collection. This first edition is uncommon; in the dust jacket, scarce. Dust jacket is now protected in a clear, removable, archival sleeve.
