Paris: Borrani et Droz,, 1855. First edition. Original paper covers, now protected by glassine wrap. Text in French. The front and back covers are both partially darkened. Front has a small label at the bottom left and small ink number to the top left. Inside front has small label from Lucien Bodin Librairie, Paris. Title page has neat ink name to top right, dated 1913. Light foxing throughout. Overall in an excellent condition. 91 pages. 210 x 135 mm (8¼ x 5¼ inches). The Edinburgh Review was one of the most influential British magazines of the 19th century. This translation was extracted from an article in issue CCII. Première édition. Couvertures en papier d'origine, désormais protégées par une pellicule de verre. Texte en français. Les couvertures avant et arrière sont toutes deux partiellement assombries. Le devant a une petite étiquette en bas à gauche et un petit numéro d'encre en haut à gauche. L'intérieur du devant a une petite étiquette de Lucien Bodin Librairie, Paris. La page de titre a un nom soigné à l'encre en haut à droite, daté de 1913. Légères rousseurs partout. Dans l'ensemble en excellent état. 91 pages. 210 x 135 mm (8¼ x 5¼ pouces). L'Edinburgh Review était l'un des magazines britanniques les plus influents du XIXe siècle. Cette traduction est extraite d'un article du numéro CCII.
