Rider Haggard, set in Ancient Egypt around the time after the expulsion of the Hyksos Written by Sir Henry Rider Haggard, an English writer of adventure fiction romances set in exotic locations and a pioneer of the lost world literary genre. Illustrated by Arthur Cadwgan Michael, a Welsh painter and illustrator Cassell's Colonial Library adverts to the rear. In the original blue cloth binding with pictorial front board. Externally, worn with rubbing and light bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine and marks to the boards. Splits in the cloth to the joints with light fraying to the extremities. Hinges tender. Internally, tightly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd spot. Minor age toning to the endpapers. Good Only
