About This Item
Paris:: Édition du Mercure de France, 1911. A very nice copy of this limited edition. One of 1000 numbered copies on Velin D'Arches paper. Soft covers are a little darkened, but sound and overall in very good shape. Signed by the artist Rouveyre to the half title page. The original name of the dedication has been cut out, leaving an area of loss to the front end paper. With 8 full page illustrations by Rouveyre. The final pages are beautifully presented in pure Art Nouveau typeset and design with cul-de-lampes and vignettes. A lovely piece of work. Printed entirely from woodcuts by Rouveyre, destroyed after printing. [1-24], XXV-XXXVI pp. Text in French. 280 x 220 mm (11 x 8¾ inches). [1-24], XXV-XXXVI p. 280 x 220 mm
