Philadelphia, PA: J.B. Lippincott Company, 1959. (1st edition). Hardbound. GOOD+. Tight, bright, clean and square. Grey cloth with red lettering. Exterior, side page edges are rough cut. Softened spine ends, owner's name on front endpaper, #5 written on top exterior pages edges (grade 5?), foxing to end papers. Colorful dust jacket is present but seriously worn - light age soil, 1/2" square missing from bottom corner, all edges are rubbed with small rips (which have been stabilized on the inside with clear tape)."From the moment John Singleton Mosby organized his band of Confederate raiders the men of the Union Army lived in terror of this guerilla leader whom they called 'The Grey Ghost'...this daring soldier attended the University of Virginia and was also a lawyer...
