London, New York: Frederick Warne and Company, 1928. Red cloth spine. Gift inscription front free endpaper dated 1929. Book is not dated but likely published in mid-to-late 1920's. One quire slightly loosened from binding but intact. Bottom edge of rear cover has a small worn area and triangle of glazed paper missing from the tip. See photos.Two coloured plates including the frontispiece with numerous black and whiote illustrations. Quite a nice copy, usually found in significant disrepair.. Early Reprint. Color Illustrated Boards.. Light General Wear/No Jacket. Small Quarto.
