New York: Vanguard, 1968. First Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 1968 ADVANCE PROOF COPY of the FIRST PRINTING of the First USA Edition. Original dust jacket over completely unbound page gatherings (all 157 pages present). There are no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, no foxing, clean, no tears. Complete with all of the photos, maps, and folding chart. The dust jacket is the same as that put on the final publication but the flaps are not trimmed and deeper than those on the final publication. The jacket has no tears or chips but does have crinkling at the spine ends. The book measures 229mm tall x 153mm and has 157 pages, 12 b/w photos, 3 maps (1 folding of route), 4 appendices. PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL BOOK BEING OFFERED.
