One of the publisher's Life Stories for Young People series. 119 pp. Very light shelfwear. Some of the lettering has worn off the front board. There is no lettering visible on the spine. A gift inscription, dated 1904, is on the front free endpaper. Otherwise fine in a tight binding with hinges intact. A handsome copy of a scarce title.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
