New York: Simon & Schuster, 1952. First Printing . Pictorial Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. Gertrude Elliott. Clean and unmarked; faint reading crease to left front, otherwise minimal wear. Included is a typed letter signed from George H. Wolfson of the Artists and Writers Guild at Western Printing; it is addressed to Gene Raynall of Harcourt Brace and accompanied six copies of this title, apparently being sent for his approval. Western did the actual printing of the Little Golden Books, of which this is number 140 - A.
