Norrkoping: Sorlins Forlag, 1956. 1st Printing. Hardcover. Very Good. First thus, the revised edition (Sweden). Printed in the original Swedish language. Inscribed by Tove Jansson "To "Lena" with greetings/wishes for a Happy Christmas at the half-title. Two others (unknown) have added their names to the salutation. Surface wear along the edges of the boards and a few minor scrapes to the surface of the upper cover. pp. 156, illustrated throughout with vingnettes and half/full page illustrations by the author. The block is reasonably fresh and not browned, the binding firm but there is intermittent cracking through the block. VG and uncommon with inscription and signature.
