New Holland, London, 1997. First Edition. Hardcover. Good/Good. Illustrator: Photographic. 925 g.; VII, 8-144 pages, introduction by author, bibliography, photographic credits and index. The text is illustrated with copious colour photographs throughout the text. Light blue coloured boards with gilt titles to the backstrip. Rubbing to the backstrip corners and book corners. A few spots to the text block edge. Previous owner's name to the top edge of the free front endpaper. Colour photographic dustwrapper with dark blue, light blue and gray titles to the front panel and white and gray titles to the backstrip. Rubbing to the dustwrapper edges and there is a 3 inch tear to the lower edge of the rear dustwrapper panel. Rubbing and handling marks to the dustwrapper panels and the background colouration has become slightly yellowed. The remains of a sticker can be seen to the lower edge of the rear dustwrapper panel. A book on the history and use of wall decoration. Techniques discussed include murals, Trompe L'oeil and other forms of decoration. Size: 4to 9¾" - 12" tall.
