Published: London, Odhams, 1938 (1st ed with C338 to copyright page). 8vo HB. pp; 280. Some spotting to rear end papers, with discolouration to edges of text-block. Internally clean and tight. Outer blue boards show scuffs to the spine ends. Fade strip/stain along the top corner of the spine. Gilt lettering to the spine. The dust jacket has a loss of about 1 inch at the base of the spine and a smaller loss at the top. Dusty rear panel. Inserted is a photo copy of the original and this covers the loss accordingly.
Synopsis
Murder in the Mews and Other Stories is a short story collection written by Agatha Christie and first published in the UK by Collins Crime Club on March 15, 1937. In the US, the was published by Dodd, Mead and Company under the title Dead Man's Mirror in June 1937. All of the tales feature Hercule Poirot. The UK edition retailed at seven shillings and sixpence (7/6) and the US edition at $2.00.
