The binding is strong with all pages firmly attached. There is a name written on the inside cover and the first end paper is missing. The pages show some waviness from moisture and there is a small piece of tape on the last end paper. The title page shows 1864 as the published date. The covers are a textured dark green. The covers show light soiling and the corners are a bit bumped. We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box!
