Complete in two (2) volumes, uniformly bound in blue buckram, lettered and with top text block edge in gilt, gilt facsimile signature stamps on front covers, deckled edges. Minor shelf wear with a bit of rubbing to spine extremities. Firm, square bindings. Minimally ex-libris with ghosts of call labels on lower spine panels, stamp to front flyleaf of each volume, circulation pocket mounted on each rear flyleaf, otherwise unmarked (and apparently did not circulate). Vol. I frontis. tissue guard shows area of loss along fore-edge. xvi,400 + xii,436 pp., illus. Stated 1st edition: March 1931. Nicely preserved set with minor faults..
