Boston: Little, Brown, and Company. Good. 1905. Hardcover. An edition in good condition with a previous owner's sticker on the front endpage. There is a small rip on the front flyleaf and the spine is becoming loose. The cover has some discoloration; After the death of her father, fifteen-year-old Julia moves to a new town with her mother. There, she meets a mysterious man named Mr. Sabin, who seems to know a great deal about her. Julia is curious about Mr. Sabin and decides to find out more about him. She eventually discovers that Mr. Sabin is actually a fraud and that he is only pretending to know things about her. Julia is able to outwit Mr. Sabin and is able to return to her old life.; 8vo; 397 pages .
