"Before appearing on earth, the soul lived in the spirit world similar to the one in which we live on."
"The soul is an emanation of the deity."
A rare, beautiful, and absolutely fascinating work of esoteric and occult science. Within its pages, you will find a large compendium of metaphysical writings pertaining to The Freemasons, Other Realms, Mythology, The Soul, and so much more. It also discusses the lost continent of Atlantis as well as the study of the human soul and the spiritual realms. There is so much in this book that it's not easy for me to adequately explain it. A stunning edition overall.
The condition of this book is very nice, with some normal reading use and shelf wear. It does contain some underlining on some of the pages, but the majority of them are in excellent condition and very clean. The covers and spine are in beautiful condition, the binding is tight and strong, and everything is perfectly in its place.
Reuben Swinburne Clymer (November 25, 1878 - June 3, 1966) was an American occultist and modern Rosicrucian Supreme Grand Master of the FRC (Fraternitas Rosae Crucis), perhaps the oldest continuing Rosicrucian organization in the Americas. He practiced alternative medicine, and wrote and published works on it as well as (his version of) the teachings of Paschal Beverly Randolph (1825-1875), alchemy, nutrition, religion, magic, and spiritualism. This led to a number of conflicts with Harvey Spencer Lewis (1883-1939) and the AMORC (Ancient Mystical Order Rosae Crucis), FUDOSI, Aleister Crowley, and even the American Medical Association.
