An unusually attractive binding, being of gray paper over boards, gray and white cloth-backed, gray lettering to spine. Top-stained in purple. Bright and shiny dust jacket, illustrated, a little worn of front inner flap, along edges, else protected by a plastic coat and not price-clipped. A fine and accessible biography of a society woman who came to symbolize the literary Bohemia of the '20s and '30s and who was also a writer and poet and muse and friend to many. Full bibliography and notes, several sections of black-and-white photographs, many being by Cecil Beaton. xiii [2]-2-366 pp.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
