Two volumes professionally rebound/restored in 3/4 brown leather over marbled boards, 5 raised bands, gilt titling and ruling to spine; 4to, 407 & 419pp. Notable for illustrations and fold-out maps including six plates by William Blake. (Volume I missing title page; map fold repaired at crease [vol. 1; pg. 30]; folding plate hinge restored [vol. 1; pg. 286]; toning and light soiling to margins; several pages and chips professionally restored at foreedge; duplicate print/plate laid-in [vol. 1, pg. 286]). Altogether a solid and attractive restored copy of this scarce set.
