Octavo navy cloth spine gilt titled (slight marking) xxii +217pp date to endpaper else no other writing, clean and tight. *From a previously unpublished manuscript written in longhand in 1860. It describes his overland journey to Oregon in 1845, his escape from Indians, gold seeking, trading with the Indians, his captivity etc.
