N.P.: Self Published Book. Very Good. Hardcover. Signed by Author(s). 2nd Edition. (1974), 221pp. VG in VG dj. Limited to 300 copies numbered 300 through 600, this number 328, signed by the author. The author was a student in Dr. Crabb's Creative Writing class. Crabb (1883-1980), was born in Plum Springs, Kentucky and attended college and taught for awhile in public schools in his native state. He received his Ph.D. at Peabody College, in Nashville, Tennessee, where he taught from 1927 until 1950. One of his students at Peabody was Jesse Stuart, who wrote the foreword to this book. Crabb wrote seven historical novels dealing with the Civil War, one about the founding of Nashville, one about Andrew Jackson, and one about Henry Clay..
