Account of the Natal Campaign during the Second Boer War by Bennet Burleigh, spy and journalist, and later celebrated war correspondent for The Daily Telegraph. An advance copy, with slip bound in to title page: "This Book will be published on March 26th and Messrs. Chapman and Hall request that no review of acknowledgment be allowed to appear before that date. Price 6/-"Illustrated with black and white illustrations and maps, one folding. In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally sound with shelf wear, spine and boards slightly bumped to extremities, damp marks to spine and boards, rear board slightly stained. Advertising slip tipped in to front free endpaper, advance copy slip bound in to title page. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean. Very Good
