Illustrations include Natural History, Maps (Coloured), Architecture, Machines and much more. Text arranged in Double Columns. Subject Words in Bold Capitals. Many In-Text Woodcut Illustrations. Attractive Original olive Green Pebbled Cloth Bindings with Bright Gilt and Black Illustrations, Decoration and Lettering to fronts and spines. including Athena's Head and V.R. Crown. Blind stamped designsto rear boards. Beveled Edges. 10" Tall. Vol I has 512 Text Pages + Plates, other volumes similar. Some edge wear to cloth. Hinges sound and Bindings firm. A little foxing but most Pages and Plates in very good, clean condition. No inscriptions. Set weighs about 20 Kilos so Shipping outside UK will be extra.
