About This Item

New Haven: Yale University Press, 1979. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good in Good dust jacket/Good. Pages crisp and clean except for modest foxing at endpapers and edges; binding square and secure; full black cloth cover shows only a little light fading around the head edges and gentle rubbing at corners and spine ends. Dustjacket bears a few shallow creases around the head and heel edges, lines of light surface rubbing at left and right front and along the front foreedge, a few smaller, scattered rub marks and pressure marks, and some toning around the rear edges with a line of foxing around the outside of each interior flap, otherwise crisp and attractive, now protected in a clear sleeve. 53pp. The author's first book, winner of the Yale Series of Younger Poets competition.
