This Edition includes 10 letters from Gilbert White to Robert Marsham that were not included in the First Edition of 1875. Lovely Edition, beautifully illustrated with Bewick's Engravings. Crimson cloth cover with Gilt Illustrations of Wildlife, including a flying Bat and Cobweb, with Gilt Title on front. Gilt Barn Owl, Bat & Snail on Spine with Gilt Lettering. Edges Beveled. All Page Edges Gilt. 8 1/2" Tall. Some wear to cover and small closed tears on spine edges & Ends. Spine cloth lifting in a few places. A little foxing, mostly marginal. No inscriptions. Please ask if you would like any more pictures or information. Size: 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall
