Blind embossing on front and back cover, gilt stamping on front board and spine. Binding is intact, edges aged, text is mottled, tanned and cockled. Visscher, 1842 Many woodcuts throughout the text, 17 plates, some hand-colored, 10 foldouts (plate IV has a small tear). Colored endpapers with Cazenovia stamps and cards. FFEP signed by Fred Hubbard who donated the books to the library. Edges aged, text appears clean and unmarked, although there is some cockling.
