About This Item
1833 1ed MONKEY Evolution Primate Chimpanzee Orangutan Color Illustrated Jardine
Sir William Jardine was a 19th-century Scottish naturalist most known for his extensive series of books on natural history, 'The Naturalist's Library'.
This fine 1833 edition of Jardine's 'Mammalia' is beautifully color illustrated with 32 engravings of various species of monkeys! The plates from Jardine's works are exceedingly desirable and are found framed and displayed by themselves.
