Sir William Jardine was a 19th-century Scottish naturalist most known for his extensive series of books on natural history, 'The Naturalist's Library'.

The plates from Jardine's works are exceedingly desirable and are found framed and displayed by themselves. This volume showcases African big game animals such as African and Indian elephants, rhinoceroses, the hyrax, the tapir, peccary, warthogs, and many others!
