New York: Harper. Original green decorated cloth (very bright). Small traces of wear along the spine edges, previous owner's name in pencil dated "Aug 265/85," one small edge tear on a map, Very Good Plus. Forbes traveled different routes and territories than A. R. Wallace, who preceded him to the East Indies. All maps called for are present and in nice condition. The beautiful chromolithograph frontispiece is present with its tissue guard. A very attractive copy. . Very Good. Hard Bound. First American Edition. 1885.
