About This Item
London: Michael Joseph, 1953. First edition, first printing. Published by Michael Joseph in London, 1953. This is a very good copy. The dust wrapper is only so very rubbed at the corners and with minimal toning to the spine. There is rubbing and wear and a little chipping to the spine tips and corners, and very light toning to the rear panel. It has not been price clipped and shows the original 10s. 6d. net price. The boards in publisher's blue buckram, are free from notable wear and are attractive. The text blocks are bright and white throughout. There is slight toning to the front fly. Complete with the Daily Mail wrap-around band. Overall, this is a very good copy and is free from previous owner's inscriptions. 'Three short novels'.
