Berlin: Verlag Ullstein, [1926]. 12mo (16.5cm.); original yellow photo-illustrated wrappers lettered in green; 251pp. Wrappers rather worn along extremities, dampstain to bottom two inches of spine edge of upper wrapper and spine foot (pulled), textblock uniformly toned and a bit brittle, else an About Very Good copy of this cheap edition issued the same year as the first. The story of a French-Swedish woman who marries a Guinean diplomat and the social complications that ensue.
