cat40a. Christchurch, etc.: Whitcombe and Tombs, (1907). First edition. Purple cloth, spine and front cover stamped in blind, lettered in white. The spine lettering is entirely faded, but the front cover is quite bright; some scattered foxing, a very good copy. Short stories by a New Zealand woman, including one which is supernatural. The preface makes reference to clairvoyancy and thought transference. Also seen in red cloth.
