With all 1st issue points: unwatermarked paper, p41-2 a cancel, "be" not "he" on p 43, . Bound in two different shades of vertically ribbed brown cloth. Brentano's ticket inside rear cover. A pristine book whose only flaw a bit of scuffing on tips & spine ends. Text block edges clean as new. Top edge tinted a very light bwown. Book stays closed when stood on its spine. A good sign of having been read with care, if at all. .
