New York: E. & G. W. Blunt. Fair with no dust jacket. 1854. Hardcover. Twenty-fourth new stereotype edition. Hard cover published by E. and G. W. Blunt in 1854. No dust jacket. Brown calf leather covers. Front cover is almost detached. Spine is loose from binding. Corners of covers are bumped and split, and covers and spine have some dry rot, scrapes and stains. Inside covers have some pencil notations, and inside front cover has an ad for a nautical instrument maker. Front endpaper is taped to inside front cover, and has a name and address written at top. Pages have foxing and tanning. Pullout chart of the Atlantic Ocean is present at the front. The pullout graph in back of book is present. Book is in fair condition. Large 8vo, 779 pages, 3 lb.; Large 8vo 9" - 10" tall; 779 pages .
