Laid-in four page publisher publication notice and four page advert of the Peabody Museum of available publications. Bright and fresh copy, almost as new. A tale of British naval blockade during the War of 1812 by one in a line of noted Napier naval and military officers who served Great Britain. Notes in the Massachusetts newspaper testify to the "very polite treatment received from Captain Epworth and his officers by prisoners on board the Nymphe." Bookplate.
