PORTLAND, OR: Rose City Books, 2020 Newspaper. New. Soft cover. Facsimile Edition. Folio - over 12 - 15" tall. This is a brand new reprint. James Franklin, the older brother of Benjamin Franklin started the newspaper in 1721. It was the third newspaper in Boston and one of the earliest in America. Young Benjamin Franklin worked with his brother as a printing apprentice. The fourteen Silence Dogood additions were written by Benjamin Franklin the year after in 1722. This is a brand new, high-definition, black & white reprint of the 1856 facsimile newspaper from the original 1723 two-page newspaper (a single sheet with print on both sides). It's a single, double-sided, legal-size commemorative print (not a photocopy); created by Rose City Books on July 4, 2020 (Independence Day)..

All orders are packaged with extra care, generally in a new book box with protective plastic & bubble wrap, and Media Mail is the normal shipping service.
