About This Item
1987 hardcover as pictured. This is the 1987 Willow Creek Press Memorial edition, a reissue of the 1942 William Harnden Foster classic on grouse hunting. Foster was a well known author/illustrator and hunting enthusiast widely considered to be the father of skeet shooting. This is a beautifully made book in good shape given its age. Binding is firm. Green cloth boards with black stamping and a pictorial paste on are clean and show only light wear aside from a four inch scratch along the lower edge of the front. Endpapers and edges are lightly tanned. Text appears clean and unmarked. Includes many b&w illustrations by the author and a tipped in full color frontispiece. No dust jacket. Would be listed as good aside from scratch on front board. Your purchase helps support our small village library. s OE2
